Abstract :
A method of analysing a coaxial discontinuity arbitrarily shaped in two dimensions but maintaining its axial symmetry is discussed. The considered discontinuity is transformed to an equivalent planar form and then analysed by a form of finite difference time domain method. Examples of applications are shown confirming practical value of the method.
