The Complex Resonant Frequences of Open Composite Dielectric Resonators

A technique based on the null field method is developed to investigate the resonant frequencies and the quality factors of composite dielectric resonators. Numerical results are compared with previously published calculations and experiments whenever possible, which show that the present technique is an effective and flexible one for investigating dielectric resonators with relatively complicated geometries.
