Abstract :
A novel method for varying the link-rates in a frequency hopping code division multiple access (FH-CDMA) wireless network is introduced. The link-rate increase is proportional to the pattern-overlap coefficient. A new parameter (effective number of interferers) is introduced to calculate the network performance and to relate it to the performance measures of the previously proposed (conventional) FH-CDMA systems
