Abstract
In this paper we have done the Encryption and Decryption of an image by doing pixel shuffling using Arnold Cat Map and generate Pseudo-random number by using Henon Map. As we know both Henon Map and Arnold Cat Map behave chaotic in nature and Pseudo-random number has an important role in the field of Image Cryptography, so we have taken Arnold Cat Map for pixel shuffling and Henon Map for pseudorandom number generation and have done XOR operation between the pixel value and the key value generated by the Henon Map. We have done some experimental analysis of the chaotic nature of the Henon map. It has been found out that Henon map behaves chaotic in nature and encryption and decryption of image is successfully done.
