Abstract :
We present a direct adaptive control technique for discrete-time multi-input multi-output nonlinear systems with unknown structure but known order and (vector) relative degree. The dynamic control law is based on the implicit function theorem and requires only output feedback. The underlying unknown implicit function can be emulated by any parametrized model, but feedforward neural networks are used here because of the large input dimension of the implicit function
