Abstract :
Microstrip low-pass filters with very wide stopbands and very sharp cutoff rates have been designed and realized using a new technique which incorporates two-dimensional effects in the synthesis procedure. This removes the limitations inherent to the conventional transmission line approach and makes the present one particularly suited for monolithic microwave circuits.
