Abstract
This paper describes a manipulator for the live-line construction of high-voltage overhead power distribution lines (line voltage: 6.6 kV) that is being jointly developed by Tokyo Electric Power and other companies. It describes the system´s development concept and makeup as well as operability tests using actually installed distribution lines
