Abstract :
This paper takes analysis on the components, water ratio, calorific value and other parameters of rural solid waste of eastern Shandong district by source separation, and explores the feasibility of refuse derived fuel(RDF) production after separated collection of solid waste. The research shows that within all the rural solid waste of eastern Shandong district, organic component is the largest one with percentage from 60% to 80%; inert refuse takes the second place from about 10% to 30%; whereas recoverable waste owns the smallest share only from 10% to 20%. Among all the solid waste, moisture content of organic refuse takes over 65% of all, which fundamentally lead solid waste to low calorific value in China. According to low calorific value analysis of different source separated components, recoverable waste is found most appropriate to be RDF raw materials with low-calorific value over 10000KJ/kg, and is effective for waste reduction and resource harmlessness of rural solid waste.
