Abstract :
The problem of robust decentralized control for a class of large-scale systems with matched and mismatched uncertainties is considered in this paper. The system under consideration possesses uncertainties in every subsystem and in the interconnections. The uncertainties may be nonlinear, time varying and bounded. The required information on uncertainties is merely that they are bounded by the known functions of the system states. The proposed variable structure controller ensures the global reaching condition of the sliding mode of the large-scale system. It guarantees global asymptotic stability of the system. Finally, an example is presented to illustrate the results given in this paper and the simulation results show that the proposed scheme is effective.
