Abstract :
In a knowledge-building forum, students and their teacher make a collective inquiry into each topic of the course. All students in the class aim to discover knowledge and create further knowledge. This paper presents an idea as a solution to Knowledge building ecosystem. This system provides the forum to construct knowledge, in which members are able to collaborate, develop knowledge and other activities. Based on this idea, we design and implement this e-Learning ecosystem called Eco-Classroom with Web 2.0 technologies. Through constructive and interactive activities among individuals and groups, Eco-Classroom supports acquiring public knowledge by adding, editing, integrating operations, and at last generating new public constructed knowledge. By the end of this paper, we take ldquoLaboratory Inquiryrdquo as an example.
