Abstract :
The major sources of CO2 emissions and the proportion of main producing processes in China´s iron and steel industry are analyzed and calculated by referring to its relevant technical and economic parameters in 2008. On this basis, the potentials of emission reduction by means of production structure adjustment, increasing industry concentration, technology reduction and other measures are estimated. Also, strategies and recommendations to reduce the CO2 emission in iron and steel industry are proposed in this paper.
