Abstract
With the rapid change of knowledge and information in this era of new technology, there has been an increasing need for professional development (PD). Due to some constraints in traditional PD activities, such as time and distance, online PD is drawing peoplepsilas attention. Online PD can benefit teachers. However, we need to know the strengths and weaknesses of online PD before investing a lot of money and effort in it. This study examines one specific online learning activity. It is hoped that more advantages of online PD can be discovered and any possible disadvantages can be reduced to a minimum.
