Abstract :
Nanjing Tidal Station is influenced by both the upstream and downstream, how to considerate synthetically the impact of the two is the key to improve the accuracy of High Tidal Level Forecasting of Nanjing Tidal Station. Based on the basic principle of equivalent water level method, design the direct method and the indirect method, to construct the high tidal level forecasting plan of Nanjing tidal station. Based on two forecasting plan, use the 2010 years of the measured data, forcast according to the forecasting process of each plan through history simulation, test and evaluate the accuracy. The results show that the proposed plans meet requirements of the forecasting standard. So these plans can be used for High Tidal Level Forecasting of Nanjing Tidal Station.
