Abstract :
Multiple-dwell serial search pseudo-noise (PN) code acquisition with noncoherent I-Q detector is analyzed for frequency nonselective Rayleigh and Rician fading channels. Optimum mean acquisition time is used to evaluate the effects of multipath fading and frequency offset. Moreover, the performance of the I-Q detector is compared with that of the square-law detector
