Abstract
A quasioptical line stretcher with W-Band waveguide ports has been developed and tested at 94 GHz. The new component for waveguide assemblies consists of two subsystems, which can be shifted relatively to each other in a tube. In each of these subsystems a dielectric lens is mounted in front of a corrugated horn. Horns and lenses have been designed for optimum propagation of gaussian beams, when overall length of the line stretcher is varied between 174 and 255 mm. Insertion loss is about 2 dB with a ripple of 0.5 dB.
