CAD of Waveguide Band-Pass Filters for Applications in Millimeterwave Radar Frontends

Window-coupled rectangular waveguide band-pass filters are designed by a new method based on the mode matching technique. The method takes into account the interactions of adjacent windows by considering higher order modes during the synthesis procedure. The computational results are compared to measurements of such filters designed for application in millimeter-wave radar frontends under severe environmental stress.
