Abstract
This paper analyses the output waveforms produced by a three-phase inverter controlled by a microcontrolled inverter modulator (MIM) to drive an induction motor over a wide frequency range. The use of the counter number method allows implementation of a simple and accurate MIM, suitable for GTO or IGBT inverters
