Abstract :
A new physical approach to the electromagnetic torque identification problem for the current-fed AC motor is presented. The physical approach is based on an identification model of the three-phase bridge converter in the current source configuration, and uses a mathematical model of the AC motor at the asymmetric power supply. The identification procedure uses the measurement and processes the electrical terminal values of the inverter without participation of the drive motor parameters. The effectiveness of this identification procedure is illustrated by the laboratory test results
