Abstract :
Data replication is a promising approach to improve data accessibility in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). In this paper, we introduce our recent work addressing data replication issues in MANETs. The issues are classified into three categories: replica relocation, consistency management, and location management, and each of them is briefly explained. We also describe a few prospects for future directions.
