Abstract :
Chromatic dispersion seems to be a significant barrier to the cost efficiencies of ultra high-speed transmission systems, so it must be managed effectively to maximize growing capacity and minimize costs. In this paper a review of dispersion and transmission capacities of photonic crystal fibers has been released and its application in the improvement of high-speed telecommunications systems is discussed.
