    The authors discuss techniques to immediately attract the readers´ interest to convince them that the content is worth reading. This can be accomplished by using design and writing techniques that attract skimmers, e.g., sidebars, descriptive headers, drop quotes, dedicated margins to showcase product applications, and graphics that tell a story through brief but telling captions
