Abstract :
All image reconstruction methods using microwave exploration run up against inverse problems such as inverse source or inverse scattering. These are ill-posed problems because of the nonuniqueness in the solution. In this paper we present a review of the image reconstruction by the analytical method to indicate the ill-posed character in the reconstruction based on the spectrum analysis. In order to remedy this situation we propose a new method based on the principle of maximum entropy, furthermore, this method operates in the spatial domain but not in the Fourier one. The obtained results show a significant improvement in image quality with only a few iterations.
