Abstract
The Multi-Million-Point-FFT algorithm from MATLAB is applied to waveforms from an AC/AC direct converter topology operated with Space Vector Modulation control. This analysis benchmark allowed the optimization of the converter´s control with a feed-forward compensation for the influence of the grid voltage, and with an interleaved control of the PWM carriers used within the six individual power stages. Proving the use of multiple PWM carriers within the AC/AC direct converter is considered a major novelty.
