Abstract :
A novel realization of a 10-pole bandpass filter in three cylindrical waveguide cavities is described. This filter uses two cavities having quadruple-mode degeneracy and one having dual-mode degeneracy. Experimental results obtained with a prototype 12.1-GHz quasi-elliptic response are shown to agree well with theory.
