Abstract
The authors report on IEEE´s first, major business meeting experiment utilizing video teleconferencing facilities in cooperation with BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc. The experiment utilized six, geographically-separate BellSouth sites (Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Nashville, New Orleans, and Orlando) having different teleconferencing facilities connected via T1-service. BellSouth´s facilities were used to conduct the first meeting of 1993 of the Region 3 Executive Committee. A video tape of the meeting is archived in the Electrical Engineering History Center at Rutgers University
