Abstract :
Upconversion lasing of a Tm/sup 3+/-doped ZBLAN glass powder film containing TiO/sub 2/ particles was demonstrated. The excitation power dependences, emission spectra and their spatial distribution were analyzed for elucidating the random laser action.
