Abstract :
Web 2.0 applications have become popular as drivers of new types of Web content, but they have also introduced a new level of interface design in Web development; they are focusing on richer interfaces, user-generated content, and better interworking of Web-based applications. Recognition and utilization the Web 2.0 characteristics requires a reference model to evaluate adaptation of Web based systems with Web 2.0 features. In this paper the 7C framework, that was developed primarily for analyzing e-commerce interfaces and examines the customer interface, has been investigated as a reference model for evaluating the Web 2.0 properties. Each of the 7C framework elements has been assigned with related Web 2.0 technologies.
