Abstract :
In order to solve the problems in traditional maintenance modes of offshore mechanical system, such as high decision error probability and lagging-behind of maintenance, the condition assessment and maintenance decision model based on fuzzy synthetic evaluation and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) was studied. Data processing method for different type of test data was introduced into the evaluation model to insure evaluation result accordant with the fact. The offshore mechanical system was divided into several subsystems, and evaluating indexes were confirmed. According to the results of condition assessment and monitoring information of parameters, RCM method, whose first step was the failure mode and effect analysis, was adopted to identify failure modes and positions. It has been found that this evaluation model is relatively simple. The result will be so correct that it can provide theoretical basis for making scientific maintenance decisions of offshore mechanical system.
