Abstract :
This paper focuses on a minimum cut-set methodology for reliability evaluation of municipal water distribution systems. Based on the application of minimum cut-set methodology in complex municipal water distribution networks, a calculation model for risk evaluation and decision-making of hydraulic accident in water distribution systems is presented in this paper. A case is conducted to demonstrate the methodology with a program compiled by author. The result obtained shows that minimum cut-set methodology for risk evaluation and decisionmaking of hydraulic accident is scientific, reasonable, effective and valuable for application.
