Abstract :
In this paper, new features of AnalyseC are proposed and implemented to assess student programming assignments in order to lighten teachers´ assessment work and assist students in learning. Applied with software metrics, compiler optimization and visualization techniques, AnalyseC has been designed to automatically assess programming assignments written in C language at structural and semantic level. It is designed as a auxiliary tool for students in the data structure assignment system and has been implemented in Java. AnalyseC tested with specific data structure programming assignments, the test result is promising.
