Abstract :
The phenomenon of domain electrical instability (DEI) in liquid dielectrics has been predicted theoretically. The physical mechanism of this instability is examined, and how to observe the phenomenon in an experiment is discussed. The expected domain characteristics are examined. DEI turns out to be a universal phenomenon occuring in dielectric materials independently of their thermodynamic state
