Abstract :
The dielectric and conductive properties of a new ternary water-in-oil microemulsion consisting of perfluoropolyether (PFPE) oil, PFPE-surfactant, and water were investigated by the impedance analysis technique in the frequency range 5 Hz - 100 MHz. The trend of the electrical conductivity was analyzed as a function of the temperature in the interval from -10°C to +40°C. It is concluded that dielectric analysis is a very effective tool for studying the phase behavior and structural modifications occurring in highly disperse and conductive liquid systems as a function of both composition and temperature variation
