Abstract :
In this paper, a novel method of subdividing voltage vectors is proposed for the direct torque control (DTC) of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive system based on DSP. 24 or more voltage vectors on a circle trace are obtained. A new switch table is used to select voltage vectors effectively. By theory analysis and simulation research, the proposed control method is proved to enable diminishing the torque ripple, especially in low speed range. In the preliminary experiment, both smooth control of speed and high dynamic performance are achieved.
