Abstract
Geologic hazards in mining area are geographic entities that change dynamically along with time. Their spatiotemporal data should be integrated in database for information management and further analysis. Spatio-temporal data model based on version-increment uses version and increment to express geographic entities and their spatial-temporal variations. Meanwhile, it records both states and events of geographic entities. According to the spatio-temporal characteristics of geologic hazards in mining area, we store vector data of geologic hazards in a coal mine in Oracle database by spatio-temporal data model based on version-increment, laying a foundation for further evaluation, forecast, prevention and treatment of the geologic hazards.
