Abstract
We are interested in models for vehicular traffic flow and their extensions to supply chain. In this paper, we propose the universal graphic language Bond Graph (BG) to describe the dynamic behavior of physical flow on supply chain using the same analogy and the same duality of the traffic flow field. The BG language contributes enormously to clarify the analysis of the several phenomena that occur in supply chain through its graphic vision, its systematic formulation of the analytical models and its universal spirit for all engineering´s fields. Adoption of such a universal modelling language in the supply chain represents an asset in the search for a good solution to the great complexity of this chain due mainly to mutual interaction of multi-natural phenomena which are subject to numerous constraints and requirements.
