Abstract :
The width of the resonance profile and the shift of the resonance frequency for para-azoxy anisol (PAA), water, and aqueous solutions of CuSO4 and NaCl are measured at different concentrations, volumes, temperatures, and microwave frequencies using a microwave cavity spectrometer. These data are analyzed by applying the Slater perturbation approach. It is concluded that the variations observed from the constant ratio of the width of the resonance profile to the frequency shift may lead to a new relaxation mechanism
