Abstract :
Geographic information service has been becoming the mainstream to provide GIS functions to users more conveniently. There are many geographic information services available among which some may have similar data and functions, thus how to choose the most proper and efficient one becomes the very problem. In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to the quality of geographic information service. However, there is still no concrete, standardized and uniform method to evaluate all kinds of geographic information services. In this paper, a multi-level comprehensive evaluation method for quality of WMS based on fuzzy mathematics is introduced. The factor set is conformed according to OASIS-WSQM and ISO19113. The fuzzy evaluation matrix is obtained by the remark of user, and the weight set of factors are calculated out with AHP method. With fuzzy operation, the comprehensive evaluation result is figured out. The final evaluation conclusion is calculated out by quantitative operation. Finally, a WMS sample is evaluated with this method. In the future, the factors of quality of WMS will be measured in different way individually, more WMS will be evaluated and ordered by its final evaluation conclusion.
