Abstract :
An application of MIMO techniques to filter bank-based multicarrier modulation is presented. It is shown that the time shift of the offset QAM modulation can be exploited to introduce transmit time diversity and two schemes are described and illustrated. A performance comparison with the conventional Alamouti scheme for QAM is carried out in conclusion.
