Abstract
An all-solid-state receiver for the frequency range 328-348 GHz is reported. A Schottky-barrier mixer and 3-4 GHz i.f. amplifier are cooled to 15 K. The total system noise temperature in the 3D-meter radiotelescope is L 850 K d.s.b. across the whole tunability band. The receiver system is completely remotely controlled from the telescope control room, and has been operating for nearly a year with unchanged performance.
