Abstract :
For the characteristics of filter material and structure the dual-layer granular bed filter itself possesses, it can solve the two main problems of pulverization of sorbent and non-uniform contact between solid and gas other reactors may have. To investigate the desulphurization properties of sorbent on the dual-layer granular bed filter, this paper made kinds of experiments to analyze factors affecting the reaction. Although increasing the rate of Fe/S can make the H2S react fully, at the same time, the pressure drop of dual-layer granular bed filter becomes greater and results indicate that Fe/S of 4:3 is enough to ensure the full use of sorbent. Moreover, factors of temperature, water vapor content, inlet concentration of H2S and so on also have favorable or adverse effects on desulphurization process and then , influencing the desulphurization efficiency.
