  • Abstract
    This paper took the forests ecosystem of Naban River Watershed National Nature Reserve as research subject, the forests ecosystem was classified into natural forest, rubber plantation and farmland, and the forest water conservation value was evaluated by shadow engineering method. The result indicated that the forest water conservation value was 1.1 × 108 yuana 1, which is 4.29 times as much as the direct value supplied by forests ecosystem, and the highest value is natural forest whose value is 8.0 × 107 yuan·a 1 (accounting for about 72.9 % of the total value); the second is farmland whose value is 2.2×107 yuan·a1 (accounting for about 20.5 % of the total value); the lowest is rubber plantation whose value is 7.3×106 yuan·a1 (accounting for about 6.6 % of the total value). The purpose is to provide a scientific basis for accounting green GDP, as well as quantifying the ecological value of forest resources for the protection and management of ecological environment in Naban River Watershed National Nature Reserve.
