Abstract :
Beijing is the capital of China, Beijing has a very large area as a city is, with a huge number of population, at the same time, it has well-developed lines of communication, a huge number of buildings, the system of buildings also extremely complex, as a result, there would be so many obstacles for people to cognitive this areas, especially for the people who are not familiar with this city, this barrier performance is in particular. Face to this special situation, in this paper presents a cognitive test to try to resolve this situation, through the landmarks which is the buildings that are easy to observe and recognize, select the building which is easy to recognize, then using the position of the landmark and location of experiments to help people determine the general location for them. In this paper, select the Haidian District in Beijing as an example, presentation the brief preparation and the main steps of this experiment, and introduced the rules of the landmark classification. Finally, in the different part of the Haidian District in Beijing, 10 volunteers were selected randomly to do this research, at last, the results shows that this method can quickly and efficiently locate the location of the experimenter. In addition, in this article, there has so many shortcomings illustrates this approach in this research need to standard setting and Continuous to Improve, although many defect in this experiment, but there also has much more development space of the method, in addition, this method has a promising development prospects in the tourism city.
