Abstract
Modaomen Channel is the primary channel for the water flowing to the sea in the Pearl River Delta. It belongs to the outfall of strong runoff and weak tidal. In the low flow period every year, the runoff reduces and saltwater intrudes, which has growing trend. Analyzing the data of chlorine concentration these years, getting the relation among the concentration and flow, forecasting the time and the range of saltwater intrusion, it have important sense to the use of water resource in the cities along MoDaoMen Channel.
