Abstract
The theory for very fast streamers, with velocity greater than electron drift velocity, is applied to the estimation of the streamer parameters in molecular liquids (liquid hydrocarbons or synthetic oils). These parameters, i.e., the velocity, the radius of the streamer tip, and the electric field strength near it, are defined using the expression for mean ionization frequency as a function of field strength
