Abstract :
In order to meet the increasing demand for data transmissions, Aero MACS (aeronautical mobile airport communications system) was recently proposed as next generation airport surface communications system. However, there is fewer studies about AeroMACS in China. Therefore, this paper gives a survey of AeroMACS. The network model, protocol (including MAC Layer and Physical layer) as well as applications are presented.
