Abstract :
The performance of free-access stack algorithm with feedback noise is considered. The noise intensity depends on the state the system is in (a `good´ or a `bad´ state). The transition from one state to an other is guided by a Markov chain. It is shown that the packet delay in a two-state system is different from the packet delay in a one-state system (with constant noise and the same mean noise intensity value)
