Abstract :
This paper presents a solid-state generator which is able to deliver more than 80 Watts of CW-power at the frequency of 2.45 GHz to an applicator, in order to excite an electrode less plasma lamp. Some of the main features of this generator are the need of a low voltage dc-power supply, its relatively small size, and its overall efficiency of over 30%.
