Abstract
We emphasise on the role of conformance testing in mobile data/voice communication systems by examining its formal methodology for its effectiveness and applicability in such systems. The importance of applying the right test method for each specific case is outlined and a tool for selecting a suitable test method is presented. As a result, the paper derives a set of basic requirements that should govern the design and development of mobile data/voice systems in order to allow the maximum degree of susceptibility to conformance testing
