2012 Achievement Award of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society Katherine W. Ferrara

PROFESSOR KATHERINE W. FERRARA (S\´82-M\´87-SM\´99-F\´10) is the 34th recipient of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society Achievement Award. The award was presented during ceremonies at the 21st IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium, October 7-10, 2012, in Dresden, Germany. The laudation was given by Prof. Matt O\´Donnell (University of Washington, Seattle, WA). Dr. Ferrara\´s award citation reads: "For longterm contributions to biomedical ultrasonics, molecular imaging, and image guided drug delivery."
