fDate :

Abstract :
The article discusses a gas-flow (air) cooling device with especially high reliability and in-service time for Leningrad nuclear power plant. It has been worked out that the projection of gas cooling system (800 m/sup 3//hour, temperature of input air +55/spl deg/C) reaches to -20/spl deg/C. The system operates with the use of sea water and does not include any moving part. Power consumption is 150 kW, project service life is 30 years. The article observes arrangements of the system and presents results of the tests, which have been carried out on the specially designed stand.
